Floral design challenge Week 9: Revamping a forgotten creation

Each floral design challenge is designed to challenge my creativity and step out of my comfort zone.

This comes with its own set of challenges and learnings. Especially when working with sustainable mechanics. I'm learning to accept that things don't always go to plan. That's truly what this challenge is about.

Week 9: Revamping a forgotten creation

This week’s challenge is a bit of a surprise. In the chaos of the week, inspiration was a little lacking, but that didn’t stop me. I reached into the boot of my car (yes, really) and pulled out an installation that had been sitting there looking a little sad.

With a little TLC, I decided to breathe new life into this piece and turn it into an autumn staple. I am so here for the autumn season—the moody colours, the deep maroons, burgundies, and rusty reds. It's honestly my favourite palette.

This beauty could work perfectly as a minimal ceremony backdrop, maybe paired with a twin or sister piece. Or, imagine it at the end of a table, setting the mood for a stunning dinner. Stick around for next week’s design challenge because I’ve got more fun plans for this piece that you won’t want to miss!
