Each floral design challenge is designed to challenge my creativity and step out of my comfort zone.

This comes with its own set of challenges and learnings. Especially when working with sustainable mechanics. I'm learning to accept that things don't always go to plan. That's truly what this challenge is about.

Week 12: A Dreamy Fall Arch at The Hunting Lodge

Another week, another floral challenge, and boy, do I have a showstopper for you! This week, I may have slightly shot myself in the foot by designing around a wedding open day I had this weekend—because let’s be real, there’s no rest for the floral weary! Bright and early Saturday morning, I was channeling my inner Pippi Longstockings with braids in tow, ready to take on the day.

This event had me creating some beautiful table designs for an incredible venue that I’m absolutely obsessed with. If you guessed The Hunting Lodge, you're spot on! They gave me prime position at the head table, so I made sure to take full advantage of that stunning white shiplap backdrop. The result? A dreamy autumnal arch that will have you swooning.

I really leaned into the autumn vibe—sunflowers, rustic florals, and all the moody, rich tones you’d expect. If you haven’t noticed yet, I’m completely obsessed with autumn, so get ready for more of these dreamy autumnal pieces to come
