Each floral design challenge is designed to challenge my creativity and step out of my comfort zone.
This comes with its own set of challenges and learnings. Especially when working with sustainable mechanics. I'm learning to accept that things don't always go to plan. That's truly what this challenge is about.
Week 10: Opulent floral high tea with Marie Antoinette
Ten weeks into this challenge, and it’s already pushing my creativity in ways I never imagined. This week, I’m drawing inspiration from none other than Marie Antoinette, and I’m creating a tablescape worthy of the extravagant tea parties at Versailles.
The color palette—hot pinks, maroons, and deep reds—has had its moment, and silver? Well, it's making a glorious comeback. I’ve said before that I’m no stylist or planner, but I do love giving tablescape design a go. This week, I wanted to show you how last week’s autumn piece could look at the end of a grand table.
So, what do you think? Is this tablescape worthy of Versailles?
